(1) Introduction

These terms and conditions govern your use of the 8^th Fulwood (Our Lady & St Edward) Scout Group website; by using our website whether registered or not, you agree to these terms and conditions in full. If you disagree with these terms and conditions or any part of these terms and conditions, you must not use our website.

(2) Licence to use website

Unless otherwise stated, we or our licensors own the intellectual property rights in the website and material on the website. Subject to the licence below, all these intellectual property rights are reserved.  Licensors include (but are not limited to) members of 8^th Fulwood (Our Lady & St Edward) Scout Group in respect of their own contributions to the website.

You may view, download for caching purposes only, and print pages from the website for bona fida Scouting use, subject to the restrictions set out below and elsewhere in these terms and conditions. 

You must not:

• republish material from this website (including republication on another website);
• reproduce, duplicate, copy or otherwise exploit material on our website for a commercial purpose;
• redistribute material from this website except for content specifically and expressly made available for redistribution

Where content is specifically made available for redistribution, it may only be redistributed within Scouting

(3) Acceptable use

You must not use our website in any way that causes, or may cause, damage to the website or impairment of the availability or accessibility of the website;

You must not use our website in any way which is unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful, or in connection with any unlawful, illegal, fraudulent or harmful purpose or activity.

You must not use our website to copy, publish or send material which is illegal or unlawful, or material which could give rise to legal action under English and other applicable law.  All material you copy, publish or send via our website must not be defamatory, obscene, indecent, hateful, discriminatory or inflammatory; such material must not infringe any persons intellectual property rights or rights of confidence, impinge upon any persons privacy, or constitute to commit a crime.

You must not use our website to copy, store, host, transmit, send, use, publish or distribute any material which consists of (or is linked to) any spyware, computer virus, Trojan horse, worm, keystroke logger, rootkit or other malicious computer software.

Access to certain areas of our website is restricted in support of the Child Protection Policy of The Scout Association. We reserve the right to restrict access to other areas of our website, or indeed our whole website, at our discretion.

If we provide you with a username and password to enable you to access restricted areas of our website or other content or services, you must ensure that that username and password is kept confidential. You accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your username or password.  We may require you to change your username and/or password from time to time.

(5) User generated content

In these terms and conditions, “your user content” means material (including without limitation text, images, audio material, video material and audio-visual material) that you submit to our website, for whatever purpose.

Your user content must not be illegal or unlawful, must not infringe any third party's legal rights, and must not be capable of giving rise to legal action whether against you or us or a third party (in each case under any applicable law). 

8^th Fulwood (Our Lady & St Edward) Scout Group cannot pre-screen or moderate all of the material submitted by members to this website. We shall however endeavour to monitor all material before publication on to the website. We reserve the right to edit or remove any material submitted to our website, or stored on our servers, or hosted or published upon our website.

We reserve the right, if a member appears to us to be in breach of any provision of this Agreement:

• to suspend or terminate any member's access to the website or parts of it, 
• to edit, or require the member to edit material posted on the website.

(6) Indemnity and Limitations of liability

The information on this website is provided free-of-charge, and you acknowledge that it would be unreasonable to hold us liable in respect of this website and the information on this website, whether provided by us or others

Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up-to-date.

Nothing in these terms and conditions (or elsewhere on our website) will exclude or limit any liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

8^th Fulwood (Our Lady & St Edward) Scout Group is affiliated to the Scout Association

The views expressed in this website are not necessarily those of the Scout Association.
