All adults involved with the running of the 8th Fulwood Scout Group are, contrary to the belief of many, unpaid volunteers who freely give their time and effort for the benefit of all the young people in the Scout Group and whom fully support the aims of the Scout Association. 

The adult Scouters involved with the three Sections are required to undertake training or learning appropriate to their role.  This training normally takes place in their own time and around their own work and family commitments. 

• All Leaders and sectional assistances have CRB clearance
• All Leaders have undertaken Scout Association training and receive their 'Wood Beads'
• All Leaders have received 'Basic First-Aid' certificate as a minimum

Within the Scout Group all our Section Leaders have completed and received their Wood Beads as recognition of completing their respective sectional training.

Section Leaders are responsible to the Group Scout Leader who, in turn is responsible to the District Commissioner for the Preston District.  If a parent has any questions, concerns or complaints please speak to the appropriate Section Leader. If your concern is about any Section Leader, please contact the Group Scout Leader.
